The test set is capable of measuring low resistance like switch contacts, busbar, slices, joints, fuses, low inductive windings, etc., by circulating high value of DC current through the contact/junction and measuring DC voltage drop (4 terminal method) which is then sent to instrument amplifiers, thereby displaying resistance on the meter.
