This Test Set is suitable to measure winding resistance of transformers single or 3 phase, star or delta connected upto several MVA. Two independent displays read the resistance of both primary or secondary winding simultaneously. However primary or secondary winding can also be measured separately. DC power source allows the selected current to flow through the winding / windings and the voltage developed across the winding are sent to instrumentation amplifiers , thereby displaying directly the ohmic value
