Calibration Procedures:

 

1. Microphone Adapter:

   - If using a 0.5" microphone, install the 0.5" mic adapter on the couple section.

   - If using a 1" microphone, remove the 0.5" mic adapter.

 

2. Insert Microphone: Carefully insert the microphone of the sound level meter into the coupler section of the sound calibrator.

 

3. Set Sound Level Meter: Adjust the sound level meter to a range suitable for measuring 94 dB.

 

4. Power On: Set the "Off/BAT. TEST/On Switch" to "ON" position to produce a pure 1000 Hz tone.

 

5. Adjust Calibration: Adjust the calibration VR (knob) of the sound level meter until the display shows exactly 94.0 dB.
